Job Description
6+ years of experience in AIX system administration.Strong knowledge of AIX operating system internals, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools for system administration tasks.Experience with patch management, backup and recovery, user management, and performance tuning in AIX environments.Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as PowerVM, and experience managing AIX LPARs.Understanding of security principles and best practices for AIX systems.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly.Strong communication and documentation skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX) are a plus
